Adv. Clinical and Virtual Supervision Training:
This training course meets the requirements of Virtual Supervision training per ABEC Administrative Rule 255-X-3-.03(2), and the renewal requirements for LPC-S renewal per ABEC Administrative Rule 255-X-7-.03(3).
Continuing Education Hours:
This event will provide 5 NBCC qualified continuing education hours (of which two [2] will be in ethics, and two [2] will be in Virtual Supervision to meet ABEC requirements). CE Certificates of completion will show only those hours attended.
*There will be no refunds for partial attendance.*
Any full refunds must be requested prior to the training event, and, if possible, will be processed to the type of payment used for the event. The refund will be reduced by a $20 registration management fee.
Costs:
Early Registration: $100 per attendee (cash/check/money order/Zelle/online registration)

Learning Outcomes
-Discuss differing elements of supervision and compare/contrast differing approaches to supervision.
-Review ethical requirements related to supervision practices and examine ABEC specific supervision ethical obligations.
-Examine legal and ethical liability in ABEC statues regarding supervision.
-Discuss theories and roles of supervision and how these are used for in-person and virtual environments.
-Determine ongoing supervision needs, including documentation, supervisee “fit”, assessment and evaluation requirements for the supervisor, the supervisee, and the client.
-Analyze the structure and mechanics of Tele-MH Supervision including technology in supervision, documentation for both supervisor and supervisee, supervisee “fit” and capacity to receive Tele-MH Supervision and to provide Tele-MH services.
-Discuss ethical requirements for Tele-Mental Health Supervision including groups, records and file management, and supervisor interactions.
